I have used several different indoor launch monitors to establish my carry and total distance for each club in my bag. My average carry for a 6 iron is 153 yds. which is SPF 2. My driver clubhead speed is around 85mph (average 226 yds.), which is SPF 3. So I should either be looking for an A shaft or an R shaft. When determining my MPF which should I favor? I strike the ball fairly consistently (center of clubface) so I’m confident with the readings I have.

First, there is nothing that says you have to have the same flex irons in your irons and woods. A lot of players will have one flex in irons and another in their woods. I am one of them. I play an S flex in irons, X flex in hybrids and fairways, and back to the S flex in a Driver. That is the combination that gives me the flight, feel and numbers that work for me. Based on your #6 iron distance, you do fall into an A flex or a soft R flex. The driver speed puts you comfortably in an R flex. I would say on the irons, if you want a firmer feel or are worried about hitting it too high, you could play an R flex in the irons. If you wanted a softer feel and wanted it to be a little easier to get the ball up, then the A flex would be the choice. In short, pay attention to the numbers certainly, but also make sure the feel of the club is what you’re looking for. The actual difference between an A flex and R flex is not that much within most brands. I don’t think you will see a reduction in performance either way you go.
