First, understand that the actual cg is not always in the place that it would appear it might be, or that the manufacturer says it is. Unfortunately, I do not have the Wilson Staff blades to measure, so I can not comment on them. the Srixon Z945 and 965 irons actual vertical cg locations were not too high, but what hurt the playability on those was the horizontal cg (C-Dimension), was short. Again, you can’t go by what it “looks” like. You have to measure to know where the cg actually is. The Ping Blueprint iron MPF is 458, putting it in the Conventional category. Actual Vertical cg is .827″, the horizontal is 1.244″ and the rearward is .449″. These are not online yet, but should be posted in the next several weeks. I will try and procure the Wilson product so I can add it to the database.
