The MPF irons are a little lighter (67g vs 73g in the A flexes) and have a little higher torque, which may make them feel a little softer. The MPF are a high trajectory shaft and the Kuro Kage are considered a mid trajectory. I don’t think you would notice much difference in the weight and if you are concerned about hitting it too high, then the Kuro Kage might be the best choice. On the other hand, the lighter the shaft the more potential to gain a little distance. I don’t think the 6 gram difference will get the 7-10 yards. Fujikura makes a 61 gram iron shaft that is a high trajectory shaft that might be another to consider (FK0088 in the R2 flex). For distance, you want the lightest shaft that you can control and gives you the feel you want.
