I think I read here that there are new irons in the works. I have some TS1s and was going to purchase some TS2s, but would hold off if there are some coming out soon. If so, will they be along the TS line or more of the ultra game improvement lines?

Woobie.. you cannot go wrong with the TS2 line. I’ve got mine dialled in this summer, and for me it could be the best Maltby head I’ve ever hit in an iron. There’s a number of discussions on several golf forums on the TS1 and TS2 lines and all are extremely positive. I can understand those who wait for newer models, but the TS line as it stands now is superlative.
We have three new models in the works. One will be a new KE4 Ultra Game Improvement iron with weight the external weight for adjustment. Another we have will be progressive cavity forging with tungsten weighting and it will be our TS3 model. I would call it a players cavity with Super Game Improvement playability. Both of these should be available in spring of 2022, but lead times are really hard to predict right now. We have a new muscle back blade that tentatively will be the TS4 and will be a players blade profile and will have high playability as well. Not replacing the TS1, but will be in that same “blade” category. It’s more of a replacement for our MMB-17, but still fits in the TS line-up. It might be summer of of 2022, but I am pushing for spring. It is a little further behind in the development.
Excited about all three for sure. The TS1 and TS2 will continue next year. They are too good. I think the TS2 would be a great purchase. True it will not be the newest in the line come spring of next year, but it will still be a flagship model we will continue to sell.
Thanks for the interest and support. We really appreciate it.

All I can say Britt is WOW!!! This is what I love about the Maltby line, nothing is hidden & all is shared. Question – do you expect any in DBM or DRM (I think that is what you call the new dark colouring)?
We don’t mind sharing when we know what our plans are. Still, sometimes things may change, but we are pretty solid on the projects I described.
As far as anything in the DBM or DRM, probably not in the first edition. The DRM option that we came out with on the TSW Wedges looks awesome and we are experimenting with it on one of the new models. However, we are just not sure if we want to put it on an entire set. The color may change over time, which is fine on wedges, but not sure on an iron set. We will see. Most likely first options will be Satin, Satin Mirror or some combination of both. DBM could be an option down the road.

The TS3 has me very interested. Would you say it’s a replacement of the PTMs? Can you elaborate on the differences. I’m a huge fan of ptm. It looks great at address, super forgiving and nice forged feel.
Any update would be great on planned products & their timeline. As an aside, I am loving my full bag of Maltby ST2 line – 5-GW, 10 degree driver, 3 wood along with 52, 56 & 60 TSW wedges BUT have got the build bug. The products from Maltby are outstanding. Never going back to OEM
