I have some unused, uncut 44 inch Precision Rifle 6.5 parallel tip shafts. I can’t find the tip trimming instructions anywhere. Do you have that info? Thanks.
Not an answer to your question but IMO if the holy Grail of shafts had a baby with a unicorn, it would be the Precision FCM Rifle 6.5’s. I have these in my current clubs and am holding on to them until the TS4’s are released so I can do a shaft transplant.
Yes. Even though these are as stiff as Dynamic Gold shafts, they feel softer without any more bend.
found this on another forum – take it with a grain of salt.
Thanks. I already have this trimming chart for Rifle blanks. Apparently some early Precision shafts were trimmable to any flex according to this chart. However mine are already marked 6.5. They are very stiff already. If I trimmed them according to this chart they would be way beyond 6.5 flex. I may end up trimming them the standard 1/2 increments. They feel like that would work. I am surprised nobody has the info. Anyway, thanks for looking this up.
