Is there anything to be aware of when pulling raw clubheads vs chrome/polished heads? Will the raw heads be affected any differently by heat? Appreciate any information/input.
Use as low heat that will melt the glue and a shaft puller available through Golf Works. Too high a heat can mar the club head and melt a graphite shaft. I have used a variable heat gun and it seems to work fine.
There really is no difference when pulling a shaft from a raw finished head compared to pulling a shaft from a chrome/polished finish. The shaft removal process of heating and removing the heads is the same.
