What is the best way to completely remove the residue of a broken graphite shaft in a driver head? There is nothing to grab onto as the shredded material is flush with the top of the hosel.
Thanks.

Hello, Skip,
It depends on how much shaft you have left in the hosel. If you haven’t starting drilling or reaming, try heating the hosel again as you would to pull a shaft, then find your best tool, like needle nose pliers, I use a hemostat, to grab as much of the shaft as you can and gently pull. You may have to carefully pry part of the shaft away from the wall of the hosel to be able to grab a good piece of it. If the epoxy has been adequately melted, it should come out for you. Then find the plug, as Bob said. I’d recommend putting in a new one when you reshaft it.
Hope this helps you. Michael
