Can The Odyssey Stroke Lab Putter be shortened and re-gripped with a Super Stroke Counter-Core backweighted grip, since there is already a weight plug in the butt of the shaft and can this plug be drilled out and removed ???

I am not sure if Odyssey epoxies or somehow secures the weight in the butt end of the Stroke Lab putters. It is a brass weight so I would not recommend drilling it out. Drilling builds heat and you would damage the butt end of the graphite shaft. If the weight has been secured with epoxy or say Loctite you will need to very carefully heat the butt end of the shaft to break the bond so that you can remove the weight. I would then expect that you should be able to install the Super Stroke Counter-Core grip and weight but I do not have an ID measurement at the butt end of the Stroke Lab shaft to know for sure if the Counter-Core grip and weight will fit.
