Are Steel Shaft A-Flex Taper Tip shafts available anywhere. I have not been able to find any. I was reshafting a set of Pings for a friend and I have not been able to find any.
If they don’t exist is there any way to use R flex shafts to make A flex? I was thinking maybe a 3 iron shaft for a 5 iron and move down from there. He is only shafting 5-SW. Would that work?
Yes, there is an A flex steel shaft with a taper tip and I highly recommend it.

Thanks, I missed that it was .355 but I quit looking after I saw the price. This is a reshaft of old Ping Eye2 for a 13 year old, my friend doesn’t want to spend that much to reshaft.
I just fitted a 12 year old middle school golfer who plays on his school’s team with the M890’s. I was able to properly fit him and his results are amazing! Worth considering and would be much better than the old Ping irons reshafted, and not much more money to do so. Whatever you decide or recommend, hope it works out well for all involved. Michael
