I just put the Xcaliber Pro TS6+ shaft in my driver with excellent results. I really like the feel of my KBS C-Taper XS shafts in my irons. Would switching to the Xcaliber iron shafts have any effect on feel and performance?
My current 150 yard club is 9/PW (I play in Colorado as well) depending on how well I am hitting them.

I’m using that same shaft in my driver and like it a lot, too. If you have the KBS C-Taper X shaft in your irons, anything in graphite will be softer and give higher launch. That said, you might want to try the XCaliber Tour X shaft in the TS (Tour stiff) flex. They’re about 25 grams lighter, have a low-mid launch and are very low torque.
I think you’ll like the feel of them, but they’re much different than the C-Taper. Jim or Britt will have more info.
