Hello, GW folks

Had a request for an off the deck 3 wood, customer said it’s different then an off the tee 3 wood. That was the info from this person.

What would be the difference between the tee and deck 3 wood?? Guy stumped me

Off the tee 3 wood would have a taller face.
Kind of an odd way to express it, but makes sense.

he probably thinks any lower COG 3W is for ‘off the deck’. Thats not entirely true, but in my experience i found it tough to hit some low profile 3W’s off tees. I prefer a deeper face one myself if primarily for tee shots – so i swap a Cobra Big tour head in an out of my bag when i need it

Thanks, I think you answered it. Just got off the phone with this person, looking for rough/turf interaction. Maybe Hybrid instead, we shall see.
