Have you tested to see how the urethane holds up after reshafting heat has been applied to the hosel?
Also can you describe the forging process a little better. Is it the 5 step process similar to the TE?
In our testing, no issues with the polymer holding up under normal and proper re-shaft heating. If you get the hosel glowing red, then I am sure it could be affected.
Same five step true forging process is used on the TS1 and TS2 as the TE and DBM. It is the most precise way to forge. The 5 step process yields a part that is more precise to spec and requires less grinding and shaping before finishing. The process starts with a bend of the heated billet, then it is heated again and put through four different dies, heated between each press. The face on the TS1 and TS2 are forged and are 2.4 mm before polishing and final CNC milling. The face is precision welded to the body.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
