TS3 irons bent to TS2 specs…I know bounce angle is reduced TS3 4-9 Iron (7 iron goes to 1* of bounce).
Should I expect the distance to be the same, or will the TS2 be a bit longer as it’s hollow body construction (poly-filled)?

Loft is the main factor in distance in the irons. At a higher clubhead speed could the thin face design of the TS2 make a fractional difference…maybe. However, it may not be noticeable at more modest club head speeds. As they are designed the TS2 would be longer mainly because of the loft. If you’re OK with the reduction the bounce and how that can effect the turf playability, then strengthening the TS3 is not a problem.

full confession on my game for comparison sake. My iron swing was not good at the time I compared the TS3 to the TS2. The TS3 was a higher launch with more spin when compared to the TS2. I don’t have my swing completely where I want it yet but once I do it might be worth revisiting this comparison.
Thanks for the input SC
