I have struggled with this for years, especially when doing clubs for customers. Its amazing when asking a customerm they usually say, I don’t look at the grip, I look at the head. So, I don’t take it so seriously anymore. I have the GW grip station , and line it up the best I can, then I take it out and do a visual. Never had a complaint yet. For mine, personally, if it has an emblem or something raised on the grip, I turn it to the side, so my thumb doesn’t hit it when holding the club. Figured that out when we were playing days in a row in colder weather, tends to cause blisters . Just my way of doing things. Think about adjustable driver shafts and truing them at Neutral. First thing the customer does is rotate it to draw, fade or something other than neutral. How much sense does truing really make ?? First thing they taught me at GW school, is making clubs is all about sacrificing SOMETHING.
Don’t stress yourself out.
