I do not know for sure but if this is for a TSR3 driver it is likely they do not tip trim the shaft.  They would just butt cut for their finished length.  I do not have a bottom of bore to ground line...

Our Tape Stripper works very well on steel shafts.  There is no problem using it on steel.  I am always very cautious using it on graphite shafts.  Especially graphite shafts with larger butt diameters. ...

No the hybrid shaft will not fit a driver.  The hybrid shafts have a .370" tip diameter and the driver shafts have a .335" tip diameter.  They will not fit.

I would look at the KBS Tour (FS0018) as a shaft that would have similar playing characteristics as the Hi-Rev 2.0.  Also the $-Taper FS0050) could be another option.
