I am curious to know how a clubs offset affects ball flight.  Does more offset make it a little easier for a weekend golfer with an inconsistent swing?

IMO – essential reason for offset is to allow more time to square the clubface at impact. that amount of time is very small, but can be significant for some. this is particularly useful for those who have a problem with a big fade/slice. it may not fix the swing flaw, but it will help reduce that slice.

That’s, kinda what I thought. Needed confirmation from someone more knowledgeable than me. Thanks and Happy New Year!
