Going to bite the bullet and make a 3 wood with a Maltby head. I’ve been hitting a 2 hybrid lately but not getting the yardage I need. I’m most interested in playability for this club, doesn’t have to be fancy. I’m playing traditionally tighter fairways, but I just need a club that’s going to give me a little confidence. I’m open to suggestions but it must be Maltby. Many thanks.

Woody, I use the KE4 fairways, and they’re great and you can’t go wrong with them, but you might consider the Trouble Out series. It’s designed to launch higher. Both series are very playable. Probably should avoid the KE4-ST-D because the face is deeper. Your choice of shaft will also make a big difference, but I assume your settled on one already.
