Those that believe that need to simply explain to me what they feel is inferior. I would love to have a discussion with them, find out what they are basing their opinion on? I understand that not everyone will like a particular design. It may not fit their eye, may not have the specs they prefer, etc., may not like the color, whatever. That is true for ALL manufacturers. I truly believe that if they are honest, do a real evaluation of the performance vs ANY comparable design, they would not be able to say our designs do not measure up.
As far as our design, testing and marketing, I will not get into the detail here, but will say we have all the capabilities and experience to do what anyone in the industry can do. Between Ralph, Pete Calloway and myself we have about 120 years of experience in the golf industry and much of that time was devoted to understanding how golf clubs work. We have been around a long time, worked with and learned from great partners in manufacturing, have played and tested a lot, studied a lot, … The principles of how golf clubs work have not changed. Heck, Ralph wrote the book explaining it. We stick to the those principles and incorporate modern materials and technologies into the designs we do. The sole purpose is to produce most playable club possible for whatever design we do. We test the clubs ourselves and if we are not satisfied, we do not release a design. Marketing is simple. We make our designs available to club builders, fitters, professionals, consumers, anyone who is interested in playing, in our opinion, the best clubs available. They are available on our website and through our catalogs, both of which are our main avenues of marketing our products and services.

Wow, Pierre, I hate to hear that. I can’t tell you how many times people on the course have asked to see my clubs (TE Forged) and will ask questions about them. Sure, sometimes it leads to question about clones, knock-off, etc….. but most are pretty impressed with the quality and the look. The real interest has come from the new Maltby Pure Track blade putter.
