Last month I tried to preorder some of the ISO-T club paks and due to the Pro Series shafts being backordered had cancelled and figured I would wait the two weeks that was quoted to me. I again put in an order as I had scheduled three fitting8 next week. Not only are the stock shafts still not available but now the 10.5 heads are back ordered. Its beyond frustrating to have to call customers and say product isnt available after such a build up and an important product release. I’m trying to get back into fitting in a big way and it’s not helping. Trying to build a customer base and credibility in this day and age of instant feedback postings is brutal. Trying my best to not look like an idiot.

I’m sure you struggle for space at the forging plant and the same goes for shaft scheduling… but this hurts.

Unfortunately I cancelled $650 worth of supplies today.. with at least a months wait for a 10.5 head. Its the height of the season with zero product…..

Thanks for your reply to Popeye and his frustration with supply. As to my performance issues I very much appreciate your concern. I will agree that the ISO-T is a much better performing head than both heads in the ST-2 line . I will do some testing side by side with my CT-250 and follow up afterwards. My gamer driver now is the 2016 Taylor made 10-1/2 degree M-2 shafted with a Fujikura pro 60 stiff at 44-1/2 SW d-3. I have the identical shaft in the ISO-T at 44-1/2 and with the 14 gram weight and golf pride cp 2 pro midsize grip at SW D-2. I must admit that I had to tinker with the CT 250 before I found the right shaft which ended up being a Graffaloy platinum stiff . The set up and look is a lot different with the ISO-t than the M2 … maybe I just need more time to find the right combination in shafts, and if not I appreciate your offer to return the head. Just a thought, could it be that the CT- 250 with a .350 hosel bore was just a more stable platform?

Thanks for the comments and understanding. No evidence that a .350″ hosel is a more stable platform. The .350 era kind of came and went and was born out of paranoia that light weight graphite shafts were going to break and needed a bigger tip section. OEM’s started it, then the shaft manufacturers started selling the .350″ tip options to fit the OEM drivers, etc. Also, by using .350″ tip diameters the shaft manufacturers could use lower modulus material in the tip sections, saving a little money. Happy it has turned back to .335″. No difference in stability.

As a side note, played my second round with the ISO-T this morning. No reservations in saying, for me, it is as good a driver as I have ever hit. First 9.5 degree driver I have ever been able to play with. Always had to use an 8 degree, which is why I stayed with the CT 250 for so long. Trajectory with the ISO-T 9.5 is spot on. The Taylor Made you mentioned is a fine driver. If you do tinker around with the ISO-T, be sure to let me know what you find out. I’m hoping you will find a combo that performs as well as mine is for me. If not, the offer stands to return it.

Britt, the sound of the ISO-T is terrific. Solid, with some depth. Good volume but not too loud. I think I was able to capture it pretty well in my YouTube review video.
