It appears that the MMB-17 has the closest specs to the F2 – same lofts, same offsets. The sole widths and cog location are slightly different. If those factors are more important, then actually the non-Forged Tour+ has more similar numbers there.
I’ve hit both and can recommend each one. The Tour+ doesn’t have a 3 iron, but honestly, it feels as smooth as most forged clubs I’ve hit. Really! As an evolution in engineering the brand new TS-1 would be the equivalent of the F2. The forged hollow F2 was a head of it’s time. The TS-1 is the F2 to a whole other level. Hollow body with the polymer filling. Should be out in a week. Do your self a favor and build one.
