I have to say that this design is just simply awesome. I hit everything under the sun but always game Maltby irons and have for decades. I game the MMB Blacks and thought this might be too GI for my game. I built a 6 iron with the Score LT. I put it head to head with a TM 790 and it matched it for launch and distance on a simulator but actually spun a bit more. Feel wise it was far better than the TM. Oncourse performance has been nothing short of phenomenal. I’m waiting for the Forged version before I pull the trigger for my own set but I can’t imagine them being any better. Outstanding work guys. It’s truly world class. If this head had an OEM stamp on it,, it would be a runaway iron of the season. Anyone reading this build one or a set asap.
Again, what a job you did!!
I put this head to head with the MMB 6 iron and the PTM 6 iron on a slow day dropped three balls on 7 different holes at rangers from 190- 205 yards. Being my gamers I know how to squeeze distance out of the MMB and I hit all 7 greens with those. The PTM did not fair as well as I needed to learn them a bit. But the TS2 hit every green near dead center. I hit one way off the toe early and still found the green. One was towards the heel but stiff found the green. The rest fell into a groove and it just felt like I had played them forever. They were a solid half club longer. The next day I worked in the TS2 on it’s own and in some very difficult situations. The versatility of the iron shocked me. It holds a green from 210 yards out on a green that doesnt hold anything. I blocked my self out on an approach to a par 5 and had a massive oak tree in my line to and uphill green at 185 out. I was able to hoist it straight up and over the oak to pin high. I was pulling off shots with such ease that my playing partner was losing his mind because he was down heavily. This iron has single handedly cured a weak spot
